Why did the customer contact us?

Customer Contacted us because the Wine Warehouse heat pump was blowing cold air. This was during a very cold spell, the warehouse stores all there wine that must be kept between certain temperatures.

Solutions provided:

Found the unit to be really low on refrigerant along with the electric heat contactor had completely failed. Replaced Electric heat contactor to get the emergency heat working again. We added refrigerant to the system to satisfy manufacture specifications, added a Leak Seal to the system to hopefully seal the leak that was in the system without having to do a major repair.

We also added a 90 degree elbow at the return box in the ceiling, along with pulling the flex duct between the return grill in the ceiling, and the return plenum at the unit. Removed almost 5 feet of flex duct from the return. This reduced static and improved airflow, also reduces how hard the system works to move air across the coil and throughout the duct work.
